About Havemoon

Havemoon is the publisher and operator of this independent English-language knowledge base for overseas buyers, importers, and product teams working with suppliers and manufacturers in China. It is the editorial knowledge-base companion to Havemoon’s official sourcing website.

The site turns common sourcing decisions into practical guides, checklists, comparison tools, and research workflows. Its core subjects are supplier discovery and verification, manufacturing, quality control, logistics and Incoterms, product compliance, and landed cost.

Who the site is for

Havemoon is written for readers who need to make or review an actual buying decision: preparing an RFQ, evaluating a supplier, approving a sample, planning an inspection, selecting shipping terms, or researching destination-market requirements.

The content assumes no prior sourcing qualification. Technical terms are explained in context, while tables and checklists make the guidance usable by experienced teams as a second review.

How articles are produced

Each article begins with a defined buyer question. The draft separates operational practice from legal or regulatory claims. When a rule, authority, or official program is discussed, Havemoon links to a primary source such as a regulator, customs authority, or the International Chamber of Commerce.

Articles identify assumptions and limitations rather than promising a risk-free supplier or universal answer. Important pages carry a visible educational-information notice because customs, compliance, legal, and tax results depend on the product and jurisdiction.

See the Editorial Policy for research, source, update, and independence standards. Material errors can be reported through the Corrections process.

What Havemoon does not do

Havemoon does not publish paid supplier rankings, sell a “verified supplier” badge, or present advertising as editorial guidance. A listing, marketplace badge, certificate, inspection, or audit is never treated as proof by itself.

The site provides general educational information. It is not a law firm, customs broker, tax adviser, accredited laboratory, or product-certification body. Readers should confirm current requirements with the appropriate authority and qualified professionals.

Publisher, independence, and commercial separation

The knowledge base is designed to stand on its own as a useful public resource. Havemoon also provides sourcing-service information through its official website. Service inquiries, advertising, or another commercial relationship do not buy a favorable supplier assessment, editorial placement, or a change to a technical conclusion. Sponsored material, if accepted, is labeled and kept separate from editorial guidance.
